Guided tours

You can book a time for a guided tour through the registration interface available on the website, for any available slot during opening hours – with just a few clicks. An important piece of information for planning your visit is that the museum is open every day except Monday, with the exception of official religious and other public holidays.

On this page, you can register for a museum guided tour and group visit. Please read our brief guide carefully before filling out the form.

By filling out the form, groups of up to 30 people can request a guided tour, and groups of up to 50 people can request a visit without a guided tour, at least one business day before the visit. For groups larger than 50 people, please contact us at contact@sznm.ro at least one week in advance.

Guided tours are available in Hungarian, Romanian, or English. Based on our experience, the duration of the tour to present the exhibits is approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.

In case of cancellation, please notify us as soon as possible via email at contact@sznm.ro, no later than one day before the scheduled visit.

After filling out the form, you can collect your ticket at the museum’s ticket office based on the information and reference number you provided, at least 10 minutes before the start of the guided tour.

The service fee (entrance ticket/person + guided tour fee) can be paid at the museum’s ticket office upon receipt of the ticket, either in cash or by credit card. Only the prices and discounts listed on our website and confirmed by email are valid.

Please first select the location, the desired service (group visit without a guided tour, guided tour, or guided tour for a specific exhibition), and the date, then choose an available time slot. If your preferred time slot is already booked, please select another one.

Next, provide your exact details (name, email, phone number), the number of individuals requesting the guided tour, categorized by age group (adults or children), and then select the preferred language.

If there is a person with a disability in the group, or if you have any special requests regarding the guided tour, please indicate this in the comments section.

After reviewing your reservation, please click the Submit button.

First, you will receive a notification email regarding your reservation, followed by a confirmation email once we have reviewed and approved your booking. It is important to check your email’s Spam folder as well. If, for any reason, you do not receive a notification, please contact us at contact@sznm.ro.

The request for a guided tour is only valid if we send you a confirmation via email!
