The Székely National Museum wishes all its visitors a blessed and peaceful Easter!
The museum and the Lábasház will be CLOSED between 3–6 April.
Holiday opening hours
The Székely National Museum wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
The museum and the Arcade House will be closed on December 25, 26, and January 1 and 2.
The Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God
The Székely National Museum is also open on Friday, August 15, the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God, at its main building on Kós Károly Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Summer opening hours and ticket prices
Starting from Tuesday, 3 June 2025, the Székely National Museum can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Museum closed for public holidays and polling day
The museum will be closed on public holidays from 1 to 4 May and will host the 15th polling station.
Easter Programme
The Székely National Museum wishes you a Happy Easter!
The museum and the Arcade House will be CLOSED for the holidays between 18-21 April.
Storytelling in Museums
Our colleague Kálmán Kelemen will participate in the Icelandic bilateral initiative STORYTELLING IN MUSEUMS.
Opening hours during winter
Starting from October 1, the museum will be open with winter opening hours. From Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 to 16:00 and on the weekends from 9:00 to 14:00.
Extended opening hours
From June 4, the museum welcomes visitors with extended opening hours from Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 to 17:00
