Living Legacy
Anniversary, Festive Hall, Music
On this day, we simultaneously celebrate the museum's birthday, commemorate the legacy of our founder, Emília Csereyné Zathureczky, and recall the memory of Béla Bartók's concert in Sepsiszentgyörgy.
The Székely National Museum is also open on Friday, August 15, the Feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God, at its main building on Kós Károly Street from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Our exhibition aims to commemorate the community solidarity that arose in the autumn of 1848, focusing on the episodes that led to the establishment of its most crucial elements, the military industry and the cannon casting.
